Florian, born 1975 in Munich, aimed for filmmaking already in his high school years when founding the first school TV station of the country in the age of U-matics. Interrupted by studying classical music he soon returned to moving images at first as a casting director for fashion, commercials and tv shows, then by two years of hosting himself a weekly TV show for kids on German television.
In 2000 Florian joined as managing director e+p commercial production in Hamburg. 2004 he founded Bakery Films in Hamburg and Berlin, 2007 Slaughterhouse post production in Hamburg and Berlin.
Since 2006 Florian is member of the board of the German producers association - being their president for four years. Since 2009 he teaches film at the Miami Ad School of Europe, one of the world's most awarded schools for advertisers, since 2010 he is teaching the advertising film class at Filmakademie Baden Wuerttmeber / Ludwigsburg again the world's most awarded universities for commercial film directing. He has been jury member of many awards and a popular guest speaker at national and international festivals.
As a director Florian has won awards at the Art Directors Club, Epica, Eurobest, Die Klappe - as a producer at every known award. Florian has seen every second of any Star Wars films and series and has a love for useless knowledge and his vintage camera collection.
